Our Story

Sprouting Hope and Connections

Sprout Connect is a purpose-driven social enterprise rooted in community, culture, and cultivation. We exist to reconnect people ,especially young people, seniors, and marginalized groups—with the land, themselves, and each other through meaningful horticultural programs and African cultural experiences.

Sprout Connect grew from a deep belief that gardening is more than planting seeds—it's about growing resilience, identity, and hope. Our programs are designed to inspire personal development, promote mental well-being, and create employment pathways through the healing and empowering power of nature.

We deliver a range of hands-on, two-hour workshops and long-term programs across schools, youth justice settings, aged care facilities, and community gardens. Our work blends practical horticulture training with storytelling, traditional African knowledge, and trauma-informed care—making every session an opportunity to heal, learn, and thrive.

Sprout Connect is proudly community-led, culturally safe, and inclusive. We believe every person, regardless of background or experience, has a place in the garden—and a future worth cultivating.
